[POS settings] How to create Services

[ Overview ]

This section describes how to create a service.

There are a total of six different service types, and the creation procedure is split into two parts.

To create a service, a product must be created beforehand. Please refer to the manual " [POS Setting] How to create a product" for details on how to create products.

Here, the procedure is explained using the shop as an example, but all can be created by the same procedure except for single reservation.


Start service registration from [+ Add new service] at the top right of the screen.





1) STEP 1 : Select the service type.


Select "Shop" and click Next.




2) STEP 2:  Enter the basic information.


[Required registration] All basic information is required to be update.


For the Internal name is set to the name for internal use.
The Service Name and Description will be displayed on the guest page.

Since the default is in English, add '+ tab' to enter Japanese and other language tabs.

Service photos are also displayed on the guest page.

For the data type and size, upload your image by referring to the explanation on the following page.





3) STEP 3:  Categories Service Menu


Click "Add Category", enter the category name, and press Enter to complete the category.




Sub category can be added in the same way. If there is no sub category, no setting is required.


When you press Add Product, linkable products will be displayed, so check it to add it.



4) STEP 4: Enter additional information 


Enter the shop information.

[Required registration] Phone number

[Optional registration] Business Address, Email, Additional Information



5) STEP 5: Common Setting & Checkout Setting


Common Setting

  • Quick Booking - If selected 'yes', new created order will be automatically confirmed.
  • Who Can BookThis setting will decide who can order this service, to open the service to guests, at least one of Guest with a reservation and Guest without a reservation should be checked.
     Hotel Staff - Hotel Staff can create orders in PMS service
     Guest with a reservation - The service is available for hotel room guests
    Guest without a reservation - The service is available for walk-in guests. If this is 'checked', you can select whether                                                          a verification is needed for this reservation.


Checkout Setting

  • Client Payment Methods - This setting will decide what payment methods are available for guests to checkout an order. The options are Pay at Cashier, Charge to Room and Credit Card Payment which linked to Stripe (Charge to room is only available for guest with a reservation)
  • Service Style - You can select whether this service is for Shop Style or Restaurant Style


   Once you click "Done", your store creation is complete.



  • How to create a single reservation service

1) Select the service type as "Single Reservation". The procedure is the same as in the shop.

2) Input of service information. The steps will be the same as when you create the shop.


In the product information section, click "+ Add product" to display the product.



Select a product and click "Done"


The Single Reservation creation is complete.
